Poppy roll can be a great addition to any cozy home feast or to please guests at the festive table. When you follow the recipe it can truly be called wonderful. He gently melt in the mouth.

- wheat flour - 0,5 kg;
- warm water - 1 item;
- yeast - 6 g;
- egg - 2 pcs .;
- sugar - 10-12 centuries. l .;
- salt - 1 pinch;
- margarine or butter - 50 g;
- poppy - 1 package;

Poppy roll preparation.

Melt in margarine (butter) in a convenient bowl. Break into a bowl of 1 egg.


Add to the bowl pre-sifted flour, yeast and a glass of warm boiled water.


In the resulting mixture add sugar, pinch of salt and mix everything to a homogeneous consistency. Place the dough in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours.

 After the dough has doubled, we roll it out with a thin layer of about 1.5 mm thick.

The resulting layer of dough is greased with butter.


Let's go to the preparation of the stuffing. To make the poppy soft, sprinkle it with cool boiling water, stir and place it on a small fire until all the excess liquid is evaporated.


We evenly spread the filling over the dough.


From the top, sprinkle with sugar filling to taste.


From the mass obtained we carefully roll the roll, lay out on the dish and lubricate the top with an egg.


Bake the roll in the oven for 40-50 minutes at a temperature of 220 degrees.


Take out a roll of oven, let's cool a little.


The roll is cut into portions.
